Itachi Uchiha is one of the most important and complex characters in the Naruto anime and manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto. He was a talented ninja from the Uchiha clan and the older brother of Sasuke Uchiha. Itachi was known as a genius from a very young age and became a powerful ninja in the Hidden Leaf Village.
Itachi is famous for a shocking event in the story — he killed almost all the members of his own clan, including his parents, and left only his younger brother Sasuke alive. His abilities included the Sharingan, Mangekyo Sharingan, Amaterasu (black flames), Tsukuyomi (powerful illusion), and Susanoo (a giant spiritual warrior that protects and fights for him). Despite his serious and cold personality, Itachi was a kind person who sacrificed everything for peace and for his brother.
